Thanksgiving

November is a time for giving thanks, and at FMI, we have so much to be grateful for. Below, I’m excited to share two brief stories of Gospel advance that I’m especially thankful for, along with one way you can join in the work of multiplying Gospel impact.

Happy Thanksgiving!

New Hope on an Unnamed Island

The Riau Melayu people—two million strong and scattered across thousands of islands—have long been unreached, with less than 0.1% identifying as Christian. For more than a decade, Frontline team members have labored to learn the local language, build relationships with Riau Melayu people, and share the Gospel.

Now, those years of faithful investment are bearing fruit. The first-ever Christian worship service was recently held on one of these islands.  Fifteen people gathered—some believers, most not—to hear the Gospel clearly preached, to sing songs of praise, and to share a meal. Since then, a small community has continued to meet regularly. The foundations of a new church are being laid.

God is doing what only He can do. Through prayer, perseverance, and the power of His Word, He is building His Church—right in the heart of this unreached region.

Even on an island without a name on Google Maps, the hope of Christ is reaching the people He came to save.

The Tunisia Project

A group of Frontline team members and Tunisian partners has set an ambitious goal: to establish a Gospel outpost in each of Tunisia’s 24 regions. These courageous Gospel risk-takers travel from a central location into remote areas to share the Good News with people who have never heard it before. In some regions, small groups of two or three new believers are already beginning to gather—early signs of a growing Christian presence in long-unreached places.

In June, we shared our goal to raise $80,000 to fund 1,000 trips into Tunisia’s 24 regions. Thanks to amazingly generous giving, we’ve surpassed that goal—and faithful messengers are already on the move, introducing people to Jesus.

Please continue to pray for boldness, protection, and open hearts as the Gospel is proclaimed throughout Tunisia.

Multiplying Gospel Impact

A New Training Center for Indonesian Ministry Leaders

For the past two and a half years, Frontline team members in Indonesia have been training emerging ministry leaders—local men and women being equipped to take the Gospel to some of the most spiritually challenging regions of their country. Until now, this training has taken place in rented rooms across multiple locations. But the need for something more stable and sustainable has become clear.

We believe the time has come for a dedicated training center—a place where future leaders can study, prepare, and grow. This facility will include a resource library, space for mentoring and discipleship, and the capacity for larger gatherings, trainings, and strategic development. We’ve already identified a suitable building. Now, we’re trusting God to provide $70,000 to cover rent, facility improvements, and essential ministry resources for the leaders being trained there.

Would you consider investing in this strategic initiative? Your gift will help equip and send future leaders, multiplying Gospel impact across Indonesia for years to come.
