Multiplying Gospel Impact
A New Training Center for Indonesian Ministry Leaders
— By Ben Ebner
Two years ago, I sat in a small room in Indonesia. The walls were plain white, and the floor was covered in large gray tiles. A blue, elementary-school-style clock ticked incessantly on the wall, and a child’s toy basketball hoop hung in a corner near the ceiling. The room had a single wooden door — locked to ensure no one would disturb what was happening.
In the center of the room was a table surrounded by bright red plastic chairs. Ten people had gathered there — eight men and two women — led by a Frontline team member. They were praying, spending extended time interceding for a local people group. No one in the room was from this people group, but everyone was there because they longed for these individuals to know Jesus.
When the prayer time ended, Bibles were opened around the table. For the next two hours, the group studied God’s Word together. They were preparing to explain the Gospel clearly and boldly as they met with people who had never heard it before.
For many weeks before that day — and all the weeks since — Frontline team members in Indonesia have been training emerging ministry leaders: local men and women being equipped to take the Gospel to some of the most spiritually challenging regions of their country. Until now, this training has taken place in rented rooms like the one described above. But the need for something more stable and sustainable has become clear.
We believe the time has come for a dedicated training center—a place where future leaders can study, prepare, and grow. This facility will include a resource library, space for mentoring and discipleship, and the capacity for larger gatherings, trainings, and strategic development.
We’ve already identified a suitable building. Now, we’re trusting God to provide $70,000 to cover rent, facility improvements, and essential ministry resources for the leaders being trained there.
Would you consider investing in this strategic initiative? Your gift will help equip and send future leaders, multiplying Gospel impact across Indonesia for years to come.
